By supporting Girls on the Run of the Bay Area, you can make it possible for more girls to participate in our valuable program. As a nonprofit, your donations are essential. No matter how much you give, every dollar is used to change the lives of girls throughout the Bay Area.
Your gift will help us:
• expand our programs

• provide scholarships for girls in need
• provide running shoes for girls in our program

Below are some ways we would make use of your donation:
February is
Women in Sports Month, and you can support a Girls on the Run participant by donating just $45 and giving a girl a new pair of shoes!

| $5,000 sponsors a Girls on the Run program for up to 16 girls for an entire season.

| $1,000 provides full-scholarships for three girls in a program
|
| $500 enables each girl in a program and a family member to participate in the Lollipop Run.
|
| $250 buys T-shirts for every girl in one program.
|
| $100 provides a girl with a partial scholarship.
|
| $50 buys healthy snacks for a program.

As you can imagine, we also have a great need for supplies for girls, coaches and events. In the past, we have received gifts of new running shoes, balloon banners for race days, photography services, printing services, and office equipment - all for which we are very grateful. If you would like to donate supplies or services, please review our "Wish List" below for suggestions.

Copier paper (white and colored), printer ink (HP88 black, cyan, magenta and yellow), markers, pens, highlighters, clipboards, binders, index cards, envelopes, stamps, mailing labels (avery 5160) and folders. |
