Our 10-week programs culminate in The Lollipop Family
Fun Run, which is held each May and December at either Crissy Field or Golden
Gate Park in San Francisco. This inspiring and uplifting event is open to the
public. We also strongly encourage family members and friends to run, cheer
and support the girls as they strive to reach the finish line and achieve their
season-end goals!
The event features a variety of kid-friendly activities, including a DJ,
face painting and a scavenger hunt - and of course, a 1-mile and 5k run. All
registered Girls on the Run program participants receive free entry to
the Lollipop Run. No
refunds will be given. Volunteer for the Lollipop Run and
help our girls celebrate their favorite day of the season!
Each girl enrolled in a Girls on the Run program is paired with a volunteer
Running Buddy who runs alongside her and encourages her all the way to
the finish line.
